Earlinda

Earlinda is a Guinea Hen, which means she was factory-installed with surround-sound commentary and a permanent sense of urgency. She sees everything. She questions everything. She trusts almost nothing.

If a leaf moves unexpectedly, Earlinda knows.
If a shadow shifts, she alerts the entire property.
If nothing is happening at all? She remains suspicious.

Her awareness borders on paranoia, but in her defense, she has been right before.

Earlinda does not merely observe the flock—she directs it. She tells others where to go, when to move, and what they should absolutely be concerned about. Whether they listen is irrelevant. The instruction has been issued.

And yet… snacks.

For all her vigilance and tactical broadcasting, Earlinda will abandon a full security briefing for the sound of a treat container. Her dedication to safety is strong. Her dedication to snacks is stronger.

She is loud.
She is watchful.
She is 70% alarm system, 30% crumb detection.
