Augustine is a small Anxious Chicken made with thick tweed yarn, giving her a sturdy, speckled texture and a quietly grounded feel. She’s inspired by our Augustine hen—a Dixie Rainbow known for coming in many colors and always managing to look slightly concerned no matter the situation.
 
While Augustine is not part of the Heritage Collection, she’s made with similar traditional-style materials. Her construction is simpler and less detailed, but the tweed yarn gives her weight, texture, and character without the slower techniques used in Heritage pieces.
